Molybenum - 50mcg

What it does:
Molybdenum is an essential trace mineral that acts as a cofactor for a small set of enzymes the body cannot run without, including sulfite oxidase, which carries out a normal step in how the body processes sulfur.*
Why we included it:
LoveStack™ supplies sulfur-containing amino acids, including cysteine. Molybdenum is the mineral those sulfur pathways depend on. Including it was a matter of building a complete formula: we did not want to supply the inputs to a pathway without supplying the cofactor that runs it.*
Potency:
We use molybdenum citrate, a chelated organic form that is readily absorbed. At 50 mcg (111% DV) the dose is intentionally modest and sits just above the daily requirement. Molybdenum works in trace amounts, so the goal here is sufficiency, not saturation.*
