PRIVACY POLICY

Vessel Collective, LLC
Last updated: July 29, 2026
Effective: July 29, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Vessel Collective, LLC ("VESSEL," "we," "us," or "our") collects when you visit myvessel.co or buy from us, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to our website, our checkout, our email and SMS programs, and our customer support.

If you are a Washington State resident, or if your data may qualify as consumer health data, please also read our separate Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy, which is a standalone document required by Washington law and is linked separately from our homepage.

THE SHORT VERSION

We collect what we need to run a store: your order details, your contact information, and basic information about how you use our website. We use payment processors and shipping carriers to complete your order, and email and analytics providers to run the business. We do not sell your personal information for money. We do use advertising and analytics technologies that several state privacy laws define as a "sale" or "share," and you can opt out of those at any time using the link below or by turning on a browser privacy signal. You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and we will honor that request regardless of what state you live in.

The rest of this document is the detailed version, because the detail is what actually protects you.

1. HOW OUR WEBSITE AND CHECKOUT ARE PUT TOGETHER

Our website is built and hosted on Framer. Our store, cart, and checkout are operated by Shopify. Our email and SMS marketing run on Klaviyo. Payment processing is handled by Shopify Payments and, where you choose them, third-party payment methods such as Shop Pay, PayPal, Apple Pay, or Google Pay.

This matters for one practical reason: when you move from a page on myvessel.co into checkout, you may move between systems. Each of those providers processes your information under its own agreement with us, and each is bound to use it only to provide services to us. We remain responsible to you for the whole path.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

2.1 Information you give us

  • Order and account information: name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number.

  • Payment information: your card is processed by our payment providers. We receive confirmation of payment, the last four digits, the card brand, and the billing address. We do not store your full card number.

  • Communications: the content of emails, support messages, product reviews, survey responses, and any message you send us.

  • Marketing preferences: whether you have subscribed to email or SMS, and what you have opted out of.

2.2 Information collected automatically

  • Device and connection information: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, screen size, language, and time zone.

  • Usage information: pages viewed, links clicked, referring website, search terms that brought you here, time spent on pages, and the path you took through the site.

  • Cookies and similar technologies: see Section 6.

2.3 Information from other sources

  • Shipping carriers, who confirm delivery status.

  • Payment processors and fraud-prevention services, who confirm or flag a transaction.

  • Advertising and analytics partners, who may tell us that a visit came from a particular campaign.

  • Social media platforms, if you interact with us there or reach our site through them.

2.4 Inferences

We may draw basic inferences from the above, such as which products you are likely to be interested in or which of our emails you tend to open. Several state privacy laws treat inferences as personal information in their own right, and we treat them that way here.

3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

  • To take, process, fulfill, and ship your order, and to send you order confirmations, shipping notices, and delivery updates.

  • To handle returns, refunds, guarantee claims, and customer support.

  • To communicate with you about your order or your account.

  • To send marketing email or SMS, where you have subscribed, and to measure whether those messages are useful.

  • To operate, maintain, secure, and improve our website and our product selection.

  • To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse of our guarantee, and other unlawful activity, and to protect our rights and the rights of our customers.

  • To advertise, including on third-party platforms, and to measure whether our advertising is working.

  • To comply with our legal obligations, including tax, accounting, and consumer protection requirements, and to respond to lawful requests from public authorities.

We do not use your personal information to make decisions about you that produce legal or similarly significant effects without human involvement, and we do not profile you for that purpose.

4. WHEN WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

We share personal information with the following categories of recipients, and only as needed:

  • Website and store platforms (Framer, Shopify), to host our site and operate our cart and checkout.

  • Payment processors (Shopify Payments and any alternative payment method you select), to charge you and to prevent fraud.

  • Shipping and fulfillment providers and postal carriers, to deliver your order.

  • Email and SMS platforms (Klaviyo), to send transactional and marketing messages.

  • Analytics providers, to understand how the site is used.

  • Advertising platforms, to show and measure ads. See Section 5.

  • Professional advisors such as our lawyers, accountants, and insurers, where they need it to advise us.

  • Public authorities and other parties, where we are legally required to disclose, where we must to establish or defend a legal claim, or where we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to prevent harm.

  • A buyer or successor, if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets. We will notify you if your information becomes subject to a materially different privacy policy as a result.

We require our service providers to use your information only to perform services for us, and we do not authorize them to use it for their own purposes.

5. "SALE" AND "SHARING" FOR TARGETED ADVERTISING, AND YOUR OPT-OUT

We do not sell your personal information for money.

We do, however, use advertising and analytics technologies from third-party platforms, including advertising pixels and tags. Several state privacy laws define "sale" broadly enough, and define "sharing" or "targeted advertising" specifically enough, that this activity can qualify. Rather than argue the point, we are telling you plainly that it may, and giving you the control either way.

To opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, and of targeted advertising, do either of the following:

  • Use our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link, also available in our website footer; or

  • Enable a universal opt-out preference signal in your browser, such as Global Privacy Control (GPC). We treat a valid opt-out preference signal as a request to opt out of sale, sharing, and targeted advertising for that browser or device, and where we can associate the signal with a known customer account, for that account.

An opt-out submitted through a browser signal applies to that browser or device. If you use several browsers or devices, please set the signal on each.

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers we know to be under sixteen years of age.

6. COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES

We and our providers use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, and similar technologies. Broadly, they fall into four groups:

  • Strictly necessary: required to make the site work, keep your cart, and secure your session. These cannot be switched off through our site.

  • Functional: remember your preferences, such as language or region.

  • Analytics and performance: tell us how the site is used so we can improve it.

  • Advertising: used to show you our ads elsewhere and to measure them.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of advertising cookies as described in Section 5. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break parts of the site, including checkout.

Do Not Track. Browsers vary in how they transmit "Do Not Track" signals and there is no common industry standard for interpreting them, so we do not respond to DNT signals. We do respond to Global Privacy Control and other recognized universal opt-out preference signals, as described in Section 5.

7. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the rights below. As a matter of policy, we extend the core rights to access, correct, delete, and opt out to every customer, in every state, regardless of whether the law where you live requires it.

  • Right to know or access. Ask us to confirm whether we process your personal information, and to give you a copy of it, including the categories we collect, the sources, our purposes, and the categories of recipients.

  • Right to correct. Ask us to fix inaccurate personal information.

  • Right to delete. Ask us to delete personal information we hold about you.

  • Right to data portability. Receive your data in a portable, readily usable format where technically feasible.

  • Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising. See Section 5.

  • Right to limit use of sensitive personal information. See Section 8.

  • Right to non-discrimination. We will not deny you goods or services, charge you a different price, or provide a different level of quality because you exercised a privacy right. See Section 9 for our disclosure about financial incentives.

  • Right to appeal. If we decline your request, you may appeal. See below.

7.1 How to make a request

Email privacy@myvessel.co with the subject line "Privacy Request," and tell us which right you are exercising. You may also write to us at the postal address in Section 15.

7.2 How we verify you

To protect your information from being disclosed to someone else, we will ask you to verify your identity, usually by confirming information already associated with your account or order, such as an order number and the email address used to place it. We will not ask you to create an account in order to make a request. If we cannot verify you, we will tell you and explain why.

7.3 Timelines

We will acknowledge your request promptly and respond within forty-five (45) days. Where reasonably necessary, we may extend once by a further forty-five (45) days, and we will tell you before we do, along with the reason.

7.4 Authorized agents

You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We will ask for written proof of the agent's authority and may still ask you to verify your own identity directly.

7.5 Appeals

If we refuse to act on your request, we will tell you why and explain how to appeal. To appeal, reply to our response or email privacy@myvessel.co with the subject line "Privacy Appeal." We will respond to an appeal in writing within sixty (60) days. If we deny the appeal, we will give you a method to contact your state attorney general to submit a complaint.

7.6 California "Shine the Light"

California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits California residents to request information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for those third parties' own direct marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes. You may request confirmation of this at privacy@myvessel.co.

8. SENSITIVE PERSONAL INFORMATION

Some state privacy laws treat certain categories as sensitive and require your consent before they are processed or sold, including information that reveals or concerns health.

We do not ask you for health information, and we do not require it to buy from us. We recognize that a record of purchasing a dietary supplement can, under some state laws, be treated as data from which health-related information is derived or inferred. Where that is the case, we treat it as sensitive.

We use sensitive personal information only for the purposes described in Section 3, and only as reasonably necessary to provide the products and services you asked for. We do not sell sensitive personal information, and we do not process it for the purpose of inferring characteristics about you. You may ask us to limit our use of sensitive personal information by emailing privacy@myvessel.co.

If you are a Washington State resident, or your data otherwise qualifies as consumer health data, see our standalone Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.

9. NOTICE OF FINANCIAL INCENTIVE

We sometimes offer a discount, early access, or a similar benefit in exchange for signing up for our email or SMS list. Because that involves collecting your personal information in return for a price difference, some state laws classify it as a financial incentive and require us to describe it.

  • What we collect: your email address, and where you provide it, your mobile number and first name.

  • What you get: the discount or benefit stated at the point of sign-up.

  • How to join: submit the sign-up form. Your submission is your opt-in.

  • How to leave: use the unsubscribe link in any email, reply STOP to any SMS, or email privacy@myvessel.co. You may withdraw at any time.

  • Our good-faith estimate of value: we value the personal information collected through these programs at approximately the value of the discount offered, calculated as the expected margin foregone on the discounted order. We do not otherwise assign a monetary value to your personal information, and we do not sell it.

Participation is entirely voluntary. Declining changes nothing about the price you pay at full price, the guarantee you receive, or the service you get.

10. HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, and then for as long as required by law.

  • Order and transaction records: retained for the period required by tax and accounting law, generally not less than four years, and for the period any warranty, guarantee, or dispute remains possible.

  • Marketing contact records: retained until you unsubscribe, plus a suppression record kept indefinitely so that we can honor your unsubscribe.

  • Support correspondence: retained for up to three years after the matter is closed.

  • Consent and preference records, including opt-outs: retained for as long as needed to demonstrate compliance.

  • Website analytics: retained in identifiable form for no longer than twenty-six months.

When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it. Where we de-identify information, we maintain it in de-identified form and do not attempt to re-identify it.

11. SECURITY

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we hold, including encryption in transit, access controls, and vendor due diligence. Our payment processing is handled by PCI-DSS compliant providers.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot promise that our safeguards will never be defeated. If a breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

12. CHILDREN

Our website and products are intended for adults aged eighteen (18) and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under eighteen. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, email privacy@myvessel.co and we will delete it.

13. VISITORS OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES

We are based in the United States and our service providers are primarily located in the United States. If you access our website or place an order from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country. By using our website, you understand that this transfer occurs.

14. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top. If we make a material change, we will provide more prominent notice, such as a notice on our homepage or an email to subscribers, before the change takes effect. Please review this page periodically.
